For some reason, Apache2 dies when I try to load the php_mysql.dll and/or php_mysqli.dll extensions (with libmysql(i).dll in place and MySQL 5.0 installed).

bugs.php.net is no use either ._.

delete them from c:\windows and use the /ext/ ones instead

Doesn't seem to make a difference.

When loading php_mysql.dll I get this error:

The procedure entry point mysql_drop_db could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBMYSQL.dll.

And loading php_mysqli.dll just makes the thing lag for about 10 minutes before giving up and forcing apache not to start.

Or maybe it has to do with the fact that I'm using dev-RC3. Its compile log doesn't look so hot...

*tries RC2*

I might, but come to think of it, php_tidy.dll didn't work either. I think that somehow this entire thing is fuxxed.

I'll get a headache over it later. I think I'll go find out what exactly broke in my good computer and order the replacement parts or something for now.
