What makes uG's code so efficient? |
From: |
I haven't taken a close look into it, but its generation times are many times faster than those of any other source even though it uses many similar functions that the Outboards uses. --- DaLurker": One who lurks too much. "If you come across one of my posts, consider yourself lucky." |

It's not |

Most page generation times are under 0.02 seconds. --- DaLurker": One who lurks too much. "If you come across one of my posts, consider yourself lucky." |

He uses Al Quida super secret terrorist technology. --- |
From: |
That means nothing |
From: |
Yes it does. --- You know I'm right. |

Outboards loads faster for me then White Fyre does. Though It doesn't matter to me as long as the script executes in under a second it's all the same. --- "Come on up to the Devil's Whore house, intimate hell of a demon slut, Angels take their time in fallin, come alive in the house that screams" Board 138, I'll be waiting... |

If you have your own server/webspace, try installing the OB3 and wF sources on the same server and compare the load times... --- DaLurker": One who lurks too much. "If you come across one of my posts, consider yourself lucky." |

He uses Al Quida super secret terrorist technology. That would mean he uses outdated Soviet computers and servers. 2000 technology > 1970 technology --- There is no town drunk here, we all take turns! Never argue with an idiot, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you by experience |
From: |
Anything under 0.10 seconds, IMHO, is like a blink of an eye. So my view on this is that the two sources' loading times are so infintesimal<sp?> that it does not make a difference to me. --- "Dodge is a good car... I ran over my wife in a Dodge!" -Al Bundy, 'Married With Children' |

No the "super secret" part means that he has time traveling camels that can go 10 years into the future to steal the technology from there. --- |
From: |
Damn time travelling camels! So that's what uG meant when he asked "One hump or two?" I thought he was hitting on me! It wasn't until he asked "Would you like to have sex with my camels?" that I really understood what he was trying to say. --- I wrote that article! It's entitled, "Apples are Going to Kill You and Everyone You Love If You Don't Worship Them: Part 2." - Scum |

I don't know why uG is programming PHP, he should have stuck with the Camel book --- The page is moving fast forward with users and topicz. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q293907 |

wF is faster for me than outboards... |
From: |
Most of the time differences between the source page generations are inconceivable. Any real time difference is likely the server speed. --- |
From: |
It all depends on the server, the size of the DB, the size of the file, and how well and optimized the code is all contribute to it's "efficiency." --- xXxAce8702xXx (8:22:33 PM): RIAA doesn't cover Reggaeton Artists |
