| Taking away LUE was a bad idea for GameFAQS. |

| Why? Well, each class has a clown. Take away that clown and the the people who like the clown become unhappy and bored. The same applies to GameFAQS. Take away LUE and the new accounts don't have much to look forward to. Also, if you get banned, you won't be back. This stops account suicides, which are actually fun and add a fresh wave of life to the boards. When LUE dies out, the thousands of users who used it before will be gone. The others will flock to social boards, which won't last long with so many users. LUE could. LUE really wasn't that bad, but it was a bad idea that sprung from it. That is my rant. | LUE is aweful, the tacky catch phrases, the lack of any real conversation. It's good that it will slowly die. And the new users won't know what they are missing so it won't matter. As for stopping the account suicides I think that was the idea. --- Ignoor the spelling errors. |

| The only good thing LUE has done for me was help me learn some wierd stuff to say to people. Have you ever walked up to someone and yelled y halo thar buttsecks! in their face? | I was unimpressed with LUE - some of the topics back in the day were good, before the TOS became unbearably harsh. Now it's just like a bunch of horny kids getting off to a PG-13 movie or watching blocked Skinimax through the fuzz. | It's still there.... it's just that nobody can get to it anymore. There is the occasional humorous topic, but it's not as good as it once was. I still lurk (LUErk?) there once in a while, but.... Hopefully the restrictions will be taken off in a year or two, once all the idiots get themselves banned. Then it may be revitalized as the hilarious forum that it was before. |

| The topic creator is right. LUE is the core of GameFAQs. All these new users here these things about LUE and they want to see it for themselfs. So they stay on the board untill they reach the 150 karma, they go and check LUE out. But in the meantime they get caught by the wonderful powers of GameFAQs and like most others, they stay on GameFAQs, even if they do not like LUE. So no that the new people can not visit LUE anymore, they have not really things to look out for, which might result that they leave. --- The only thing you'll succeed at, is failure. |

It's not even the main social board (CE has that honor). Nor is it very influential.
