I would guess its because its really easy to go way offtopic in a topic. Like I could say "Yes, I like muffins." if someone asked where the muffin in morrowind was. Then someone else could say "Yeah me too, especially with.." and then soon its about real muffins, rather than the one in morrowind.

oh muffins... i found a muffin in this game called Marrowind.. and it got me so hungry or muffins that i went to the kitchen (that is a room in a house where grow-ed up cook food) and i tried to make some muffins... alas i ended up catching them on fire... so i get no muffins...

not necessarily.... not if the said triangle is drawn on the surface of say...a muffin top!
