I'm almost sure that this has been mentioned, but I don't feel like surfing through 450+ posts to see if it has.

I have 5 accounts that I use regularly, and today my security settings rejected me logging into three of them. I'm sure it's a glitch, otherwise I wouldn't be allowed to log into this one. And I had logged into all 5 of them yesterday, and I didn't change ISPs or get a new PC.

Don't know if this is a glitch, but the boards are not only Mac unfriendly, they're anti-Mac.

I mean, the messages go all the way to the right, so you've got to scroll a lot.

Other times, the blue spaces where the messages go are one word long, so, this time, you've got to scroll down.

To clarify, I'm not a member of any bug fixing team, I'm just a moderator with enough time on his hands to keep his ear to the boards, gather bug reports, prioritize them and pass them on to the people that can make things happen. As such, I'm afraid I know nothing more about which bug will be fixed when when you guys do. But I *can* assure that the right people are told, and regularly nagged.

Sash, I posted before but I'll try this one more time. If you could please let me know that this has been at least brought to CJayC's or CNET's attention I would greatly appreciate it.

I cannot access GameFAQs from my home computer. Ever since the merge with Gamespot (it happened the same day the boards went to the new style), I haven't been able to log on to this website. Apparently something happened with the compatibility with this website and my ISP, since another user with my ISP had the exact same problem. I can't really blame my ISP either, since this is the only site I have the problem with. I posted previously and the problem remains unresolved. I've also tried emailing CJayC and have not gotten a response. Thanks again Sash.

Maybe this has been posted here before, but I wanna make sure it is said.

Names of old deleted accounts cannot be re-used again because it says the accounts are registered but not yet activated. They are gone though, because they don't exist if you try to login.

Can any help?
I have just bought Rise of Nations ( T&P) but each time that I play the game it throws me out with the follow "error" - Gathering exceptions.
HUH?

The game will shut it self down.

The Zodiac and Mobile systems need their own general boards. And, Zodiac needs to be added to the system lists. And, the platform jumper needs to be updated to include DS and PSP.

These are like 5 second fixes, so tell Ceej to get on it.

The underlying problem being, of course, the appearance of the duplicate MBA board in the first place. Assuming it's not overly complicated I'd say the focus should be on fixing *that*. If for some reason that's not viable, the symptom you describe could be viewed as an issue of its own.

Ahem. The reason why it doesn't work is because you need TWO boards other than the original MBA link in order to remove the second board. Though, as Sash said, the underlying problem needs to be fixed.

jride: brought your issue up with CJayC, but there's nothing GameFAQs can do. Virtually every ISP on the world *can* access GameFAQs, and if one pops up that can't the problem is on their end. You'll need to talk to them, instead. First, you may wish to doublecheck if it's not something with your own computer; it could be that you have a bad HOSTS file or are using DNS caching software - the latter would result in your computer still trying to find GameFAQs at its old IP address, where it no longer is. Easy way to try if it's that latter problem is to enter GameFAQs' IP address instead of its name. Try visiting 216.239.115.138 and see if you get GameFAQs then. If you do, the problem is with your computer, likely a cached DNS; if you get the same problem as before, it's your ISP.

Thanks Sash. I guess I just need to brush up on my computer knowledge and figure something out. I've actually tried accessing from home via the address you gave and it works and brings up the home page, but any link I click gives me the same DNS error. I've tried contacting my ISP before, but they're a smaller company and I don't think they entirely understand the problem. I'll try to find some tech support and see if I can find some more info since I'm not computer literate enough to figure this out myself. Again, thank you (and CJayC) for you time.

Yeah, I have seen a bug actually. My apologies if someone has already mentioned it.

When using my alt accounts (and it only happens on my alts, not this one) I'll randomly get system notifications. The notifications say that I've been moderated. I check my moderated messages, and I don't have any.

It's quite a scare sometimes, lol. Like... WHAT'D I DO??!?!

I got a moderation the other day. I knew it would be moderated so I kept a close eye on it, but the thing is, I got the moderation in my history before I got the system notification, by one hour difference.
