When my son says he's so bored because he has no friends to play with, I just send him outside with rocket balloons.

I sent this message to Necco just now:

Hi, my name's Jay. I love the Tart Sweethearts with a burning, firey passion.

I've bought about 30 boxes so far and plan to buy more.

But I have a problem: in every box i've opened, there's been at least one or two of the hearts that look wet, and are slimey and look melted. As a matter of fact, I have one sitting on a box right now, and it STILL looks wet after 4 days.

I'm wondering if maybe this can be explained. It worries me, seeing as how i've eaten them anyways.

Ok, you all have been so patient with all of this. I want to thank you all in advance.

This is what happened since last week when I received the package -

I got it and immediately took it to my room where I sat it beside my bed and stared at it for a moment. I didn't know what to think of it, so I just left it there for a few hours.

Finally my curiosity got to me -

Here I am opening the box:

When I opened it up I.. I Didn't know what I was looking at. It was a watery green substance. It looked like a load of slime.. then it started to move.

I threw the box across the room, thinking that it was going to attack me or something. I watched it.. and slowly.. the slime began to drip out.

Luckily I was able to take a picture of what came out...

He stared at me and I stared at him. It was quite awkward for a bit. Then.. he started to approach me. I backed up against the wall and grabbed a blunt object.

Just as I blinked, he jumped up on the bed and grabbed a hold of my leg. I began to scream like a little girl when I realized he wasn't hurting me, he was hugging me.

Needless to say it turns out he was a friendly slime monster and he just wanted to be friends. I named him Steve. Right now he's watching Cops on TV and later we're going to play Yahtzee.

You know, I can tell you exactly where this topic went down this road.. I really did send those emails to the people at Necco, and they did reply to me. Everything in the first post is true.

I really never heard from them again, which pissed me off.

Ah well.

I'll let Steve know that he's famous on the internet.
