2 have at E3, I heard. They recognized his name tag and approached him. After a few minutes of conversation they kindly asked if they could get a picture. He declined, but he did photograph them.

Oh that's right, you do live in the area yourself. I suppose I could tip my hat and say "Oh hi, I'm one of the users that stirred up tons of trouble on your site". Actually, I wouldn't do so. But makes my point even more relevant in my opinion. If some of the more notorious users don't really care what he looks like, and wouldn't speak to him, what does it matter? Regardless of just how much some people here worship him, I seriously doubt (And certainly hope) that they wouldn't fly down here and search him out. His WHOIS information was public, I doubt that he had any problems there.

But still, he can't even show a pic? I mean we as far as what he looks like and what kind of person he is (his type of personality) we know nothing about him. And the fact that he barely posts anymore and that we don't even know what he looks like, and hes the admin and creator of the site. Plus I'm sure people, even if they do see him in public, still might not approach him in fear if it's not really him and just someone who looks like him.

Ever notice WHY he never shares personal sentiments anymore like he used to? Maybe we'll get lucky this year when we return to E3.

System - I think the point is, he just wants his privacy. What business is it to you, that you need to see his picture? And for the record, we were unsuccessful in getting one. He's just a white man from Texas, average build. That's really all you need to know.
He's really a nice guy to speak with though. Myself and my group talked at length with him for over an hour about various things, be it GameFAQs (FAQ writing was prevalent since we were all writers there, then some stuff I wanted to know about moderating and boards in general), E3 thus far, video games, or even personal things. Nothing really out of the ordinary, you know. It's not like we saw him and totally flipped a **** because we saw the guy. He called my phone and said where he was standing, so we went by and introduced ourselves, and hung around for a bit. I think if people here (not necessarily here in particular, just in general on the web) gave him a shot and didn't act like immature idiots about things, he wouldn't have so much of a problem keeping so much information private. But that's not how it is, eh?
